Simulation of Fluid Flow During Direct Synthesis of H <sub>2</sub> O <sub>2</sub> in a Microstructured Membrane Reactor

چکیده
A microstructured membrane reactor has been developed to overcome the safety and productivity challenge of direct synthesis hydrogen peroxide. single is employed for separate, continuous dosage gaseous reactants oxygen solid catalyst present in aqueous solvent. Using a custom OpenFOAM® model, impact catalyst-coated static mixers with different mixer geometries studied. It demonstrated that fluid guiding elements outperform investigated commercial under flow conditions relevant this application.
